Designed specifically for those desiring an
affordable 2.5L shortblock upgrade. Not all of us
have big race team budgets, so Cobb have designed
this block to be affordable while still being packed
with Cobb's motorsports experience in engine
building. |

Compared to the off-the-shelf STI shortblock
available from the dealer, Tuner Series 2.5L block
offers significant improvements. For one, true
FORGED pistons are used and feature a design
compatible with the WRX cylinder heads for optimal
combustion quality and detonation resistance.
Additional work also goes into carefully
blueprinting and balancing the entire shortblock.
For those that want more than the stock STI block
but don't need the bells and whistles of Cobb's
high-end racing blocks, this is an obvious choice.
All new parts are used in the assembly of
this block. |
